🧮 What a casino game really costs

The house edge in one minute, and how to pick the cheapest bets.

1The house edge, in one sentence

It is the share of each bet the casino keeps on average, over a very large number of games: at 1%, you lose on average $1 for every $100 bet.

2The same game can be cheap or expensive

In baccarat, the Banker bet costs 1.06% and the Tie 14.36%. In sic bo, Small and Big cost 2.78%, but some totals cost more than 40%.

The game matters, but the bet matters just as much: our game library gives the best and the worst bet of each game.

3Speed multiplies the cost

The house edge applies to every bet: the more bets per hour, the more it costs you. A fast game at 3% can cost more per hour than a slow game at 5%.
