Questions bettors ask
What does -110 mean in betting?
It is American odds for a favourite or a coin-flip line: you stake $110 to win $100 in profit, so $210 comes back. In decimal it is 1.91.
How do I convert American odds to decimal?
For a plus price, divide by 100 and add 1: +150 is 2.50. For a minus price, divide 100 by the number and add 1: -200 is 1.50.
What is implied probability?
The chance a price stands for: 1 divided by the decimal price. 2.50 implies 40%. It includes the sportsbook's margin, which is why both sides of a game add up to more than 100%.
